Margeaux Higgins
Nutrigenomic Medicine Specialist
Margeaux Higgins is an ANTA Accredited Clinical Nutritionist and Naturopath, practicing since 2018.
In conjunction with her clinical experience, Margeaux is a leading educator in the specialist field of nutrigenomics, serving as a Head of Clinician Education for Cell-Logic and a Senior Instructor at the Institute of Nutrigenomic Medicine.
Her knowledge of nutrigenomics and nutrition bridges the gap between cellular science and clinical application, helping to optimise gut–immune balance, and overall cellular function for her clients.

As a working mother, Margeaux understands the daily realities of trying to maintain sustainable health practices that are affordable, and can be achieved with the time you have.
When working with Margeaux, food and lifestyle remain the primary tools for progress, supported where appropriate by carefully selected, nutrigenomically-active medicines specific to the individual.
Approach
A Cellular, Food-First Foundation
Across all areas of care, the foundation remains the same: whole, minimally processed foods rich in bioactive compounds that influence gene expression and cellular defence systems. Targeted nutrigenomic medicines are used selectively and strategically, to complement, not replace, foundational nutrition.

A cellular approach enables cells across multiple body systems to return to balance. This means we can address seemingly unrelated health concerns simultaneously by supporting the shared cellular defence mechanisms that underpin health, rather than treating each condition in isolation.
Clinical Focus
Margeaux practices through a systems-based, nutrigenomic lens, recognising that gut-immune cells are the first responders to information coming from our food. These messages are extended to our other organs and systems, influencing the function of our entire body.

Gut & Digestive Health
Examples of digestive dysfunction Margeaux can help with:
-
Food intolerances and sensitivities
-
Restrictive or long-term elimination diets
-
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
-
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
-
Chronic bloating and abdominal discomfort
Immune & Inflammatory Balance
A healthy immune system should be responsive to threats when needed, and then cool, calm, and regulated once the job is done.

Examples of immune dysregulation Margeaux can help with:
-
Recurrent infections or lowered immune resilience
-
Brain fog
-
Autoimmune conditions
-
Allergy-related responses
-
Chronic fatigue or low energy

Women’s Health
Reproductive and hormonal health is deeply influenced by cellular function and gut-immune balance. When inflammation, nutrient insufficiency, or immune dysregulation are present, menstrual and reproductive health often reflect this strain.

Examples of women's health concerns Margeaux can help with:
-
Restoring healthy menstrual cycles
-
Thrush and Bacterial Vaginosis
-
Fertility nutrition
-
Preconception care
-
Pregnancy nutrition
-
Post-partum nutrition

Skin & Barrier Health
The skin is both a reflection of internal balance and external structural and immune requirements. Her approach addresses internal drivers such as gut-immune dysfunction, inflammation, and detoxification pathways, while also supporting the skin barrier’s need for protection, repair, and nutrient sufficiency.

Examples of skin conditions Margeaux van help with:
-
Eczema
-
Rosacea
-
Peri-oral dermatitis
-
Dermatographia
-
Psoriasis
